Marquette University police investigate armed robbery at retail store by campus

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Marquette University Police Department (MUPD) is investigating an armed robbery that happened at a store by campus. 

It happened around 4:50 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 25 near 15th and W. State Street. 

According to police, two suspects entered the store, collected items and pointed a gun at the employee before leaving without paying. 

The suspects fled westbound on W. State Street in a dark color sedan with no license plates and no front car logo.

Both men are described as being 5' 10" and in their mid 20s. One was wearing a black puffy jacket, plaid pajama pants and brown slippers. The other suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark ball cap, light blue jeans and blue foam clogs.

No one was injured during the incident.

This is the fourth attempted armed robbery near Marquett's campus in recent weeks.
