MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Hundreds of homeless people got some much needed help on the Marquette campus Thursday.
Project Homeless Connect is a one-day, one-stop annual event where people experiencing homelessness can access the multiple services and resources they need, all under one roof.
Organizers say it's beneficial for them too.
"It's maybe the most authentic experience that a person not experiencing homelessness has, talking to someone that is going through that life experience," said Krystina Kohler of United Way.
If you'd like to help end homelessness, contact your local chapter of the United Way to find out how you can help.
