MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Marquette University has directed residents of Schroeder Hall to quarantine for two weeks in response to a "cluster of increasing COVID-19 cases among residents."
The university made the announcement in coordination with the Milwaukee Health Department Monday, Sept. 14.
The quarantine will go into effect from 10 p.m. Monday, Sept. 14 through 10 p.m. Monday, Sept. 28.
“We are taking this action in coordination with the Milwaukee Health Department to help stop further spread of COVID-19,” said Keli Wollmer, director of the Marquette University Medical Clinic. “It is imperative that students follow these public health directives during this rapidly evolving situation.”
Marquette says approximately 373 residents live in Schroeder Hall, and 3% have tested positive.
