Marquette hoops will play at Naval Academy in November

Marquette's basketball season will open with one of its coolest assignments of the year.
The Golden Eagles are one of four teams taking part in the Veterans Classic, an early season tournament taking place at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md. Players will also get a glimpse into life as a midshipman at the Academy.
MU will play Vanderbilt at 5:30 Central Time on November 11th, which is both Veterans Day and the first day of the regular season for college basketball.
Ohio State and Navy are the other two teams participating in the tournament.
