Marquette fights for win on Al's Day

A strong second half showing helped Marquette get past St. John's 81-75 Saturday afternoon, the Golden Eagles' first conference win at home this season.
Luke Fischer scored 18 points, and Henry Ellenson and Haanif Cheatham poured in 15 points each, as Marquette battled through several lead changes in the second half. Ellenson's jumper with 4:17 to play game MU the lead for good, and the Golden Eagles went 10-of-10 from the free throw line in the game's final minute to seal the win.
