Marquette dropped by sharpshooting Seton Hall

MILWAUKEE--The Marquette Golden Eagles lost to the Seton Hall Pirates 80-70 Wednesday night at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.
Despite 16 points from guard Matt Carlino, the Golden Eagles allowed the Pirates to go 13 of 26 from three-point range. Pirate guards Sterling Gibbs and Khadeen Carrington combined for 44 points.
Marquette (10-10, 2-6 in Big East) will host Butler on Saturday.
