Marijuana, THC vape cartridges seized from Caledonia home during search warrant

RACINE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 38-year-old man was arrested Friday morning after police executed a search warrant at his Caledonia home.

Agents from the Racine County Metro Drug Unit searched a home in the 47000 block of Douglas Avenue where they found 3786 grams of marijuana, 499 THC 'vape cartridges', digital scale, and other drug paraphernalia.

Officers also located a quest card belonging to the suspect.

The suspect, Goran Ivic, was taken into custody.

Ivic is a convicted felon from New Hampshire for drug related crimes.

He is now facing charges of possession of THC with intent to deliver, keeper of a drug house for sales/manufacture, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

"I understand the debate about marijuana but it should anger all of us that Goran Ivic, a convicted felon, is a recipient of the tax payer funded “FoodShare Wisconsin” program also known as “Quest,” was busy selling thousands of dollars’ worth of illegal drugs to the very community who financially supports and feeds him. Mr. Ivic provided no proof or verification of legitimate employment whatsoever," said Sheriff Christopher Schmaling.
