MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Packers fans have been waiting for the word ever since Mike McCarthy was let go.
CBS 58 News spoke with some fans who say the thought of someone new coming in already has them looking forward to next season, but others aren't as impressed with the choice.
"I haven't been impressed with the Titans' coaches. All their stuff comes from they draft well, cause they basically lose. They really haven't done anything as coaches," said Packers fan Nathan Yeo.
"I'm excited. I mean you get a young talented coach coming in here now going OC with the Titans last year but being under McVay, being under Shanahan, I think you get a young influential coach coming in and hopefully turning the season around," said Packers fan Ryan Jansen.
Several fans say they hope the team will keep some assistant coaches and other personnel to work with the next head coach.
