Man Wins Million Dollars from Scratch Ticket Bought at Woodman's

A man from Dousman scratched off a lottery ticket worth $1 million that he purchased at Woodman's. 

Ronald Alvarez of Dousman became a millionaire when he redeemed a Royal Millions scratch ticket worth $1 million.

Alvarez bought his ticket at Woodman's Food Market at 1099 South Grand Avenue in Sun Prairie.  He will take home more than $673,000 after taxes.  Retailers who sell winning tickets over $599 receive an incentive of 2% of the winning ticket amount up to $100,000.

There are a total of three $1 million grand prizes in the Royal Millions scratch game – one $1 million grand prize is still available.  In addition to the three grand prizes, players can win anywhere from $30 to $50,000. Each scratch ticket costs $30.
