Man taken into custody by Ozaukee County Special Response Team

OZAUKEE COUNTY (CBS 58) – A 53-year-old man is in custody in Ozaukee County, according to police.

Authorities say they attempted to serve a temporary restraining order and removal of the man from a home near Northwoods Drive and Northwoods Road in the town of Port Washington.

The man refused to listen to orders and concealed himself in a room where it was known he had access to firearms.

After several failed attempts to make contact with the man, the Ozaukee County Metro Special Response Team was called.

SRT members were able to make contact with the man and eventually take him into custody without further incident.
