Man stuck by stray bullet

A 32-year-old Milwaukee man is the victim of what appears to have been a running gun battle between several individuals in two cars Wednesday night.   According to the Milwaukee Police Department, around 10:15 PM the man was struck by a stray bullet when two cars sped by the area of N 39th and W Wright Streets as the occupants were trading gunshots with each other.   The suspects then fled the scene in the vehicles.   The victim was treated on the scene by the Milwaukee Fire Department and then taken to a local hospital for treatment of a non-life threatening wound.  The MPD is investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
