Elderly man struck and killed by vehicle in Wauwatosa identified as retired priest

Updated on Saturday, Jan. 10, at 8:25 p.m.: The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner says that the man who died was identified as 93-year-old David Gau.
Gau was a retired priest who lived at St. Camillus Retirement Community nearby.
WAUWATOSA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 93-year-old man is dead after being struck by a car in Wauwatosa on Friday, Feb. 9.
Officials say it happened around 1:40 p.m. near 103rd and Wisconsin.
According to Wauwatosa police, the victim was on the south side of the street and was struck by a vehicle traveling eastbound on Wisconsin Avenue.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The striking vehicle stayed at the scene and the driver is cooperating with the investigation.
