Man stabbed to death on Milwaukee's south side

Police are searching for a suspect after a man was found fatally stabbed Friday night.

Police responded to the area of 9th and Madison around 9:45 p.m.

First responders found a 39-year-old male suffering from stab wounds.

They attempted life saving efforts, but the victim died at the scene.

Police said that the man's injuries were the result of an altercation that may have happened earlier in the evening.

The incident is still under investigation by Milwaukee Police.
