Man stabbed during argument at rooming house near 19th and Melvina

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department is currently investigating a stabbing. 

It happened around 12:55 p.m. on Sunday at a rooming house near 19th and Melvina.

According to police, the victim and suspect got into an argument over an item that was missing. The suspect then stabbed the 45-year-old man with a knife.

He is being treated at a local hospital for a stab wound to his side.

Milwaukee Police are searching for a known suspect.
