Man shot while walking through neighborhood

Milwaukee police are investigating an overnight shooting that happened near North Ave and Buffum Street.

Police said that a 48-year-old man was walking in the area around 3 a.m. Sunday when he heard gunshots and realized that he had been shot.

The victim drove himself to the hospital for treatment. His injuries are believed to be non life threatening.

Police are still seeking suspects and a motive for the shooting.
