MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – A 22-year-old man was shot early Wednesday morning while sitting in a car near 12th and Vine, according to Milwaukee Police.
Authorities say the shooting happened around 12:45 a.m. The victim was sitting in a car when a suspect drove past and fired multiple times into the car. The victim was seriously hurt and taken to a local hospital.
A 13-year-old boy, who was standing outside near where the gunshots were fired, was also hit by a bullet. He was treated on the scene for a non-fatal gunshot wound and then transported to a hospital.
MPD continues to investigate the incident and search for a suspect.
