Elmbrook Schools parent files lawsuit against district mask policy
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A Milwaukee man is being treated for a non-life threatening gunshot wound after being shot while driving away from a suspect attempting to break into his car.
Police say it happened near N. 14th and W. Garfield around 10 p.m. Wednesday.
According to Milwaukee Police, the adult man was approached by a male suspect while he was parked and sitting inside the vehicle. The suspect attempted to break into the car, but the victim drove off. The suspect then fired shots at the vehicle, and while driving, the victim realized he had been hit by a bullet.
The victim then drove to a local hospital, where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The incident remains under investigation.
