Man Shot on W. Villard Avenue

Milwaukee Police are investigating a shooting that happened around 4:15 a.m. on July 13 in the 4000 block of W. Villard Avenue.
An unknown suspect inside a vehicle approached the victim, a 48-year-old Milwaukee man, who was on the street. The suspect fired multiple shots, one of which struck the victim.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of a serious injury.
The investigation is ongoing and police continue to search for the suspect responsible.
