Man shot near 8th and Wright, taken to hospital

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – A man was shot near 8^th and Wright in Milwaukee Sunday evening.

According to police, the 28-year-old victim says he was walking in the area when he heard several gunshots. He then realized he had been hit. He was taken to a hospital with a non-life threatening injury.

Police continue to investigate and search for a suspect.
