Man shot near 27th and Capitol Wednesday afternoon

Milwaukee Police officers responded to the 2100 block of N. 32nd Street around 12:30 PM on Wednesday and found a man who had been shot.

The victim told family members he had been shot near N. 27th Street and W. Capitol Drive a short time earlier.

The man was taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Police are investigating.
