Man shot during street robbery

A strong armed robbery turned into a shooting on Milwaukee’s north side Wednesday evening.  According to a report from the Milwaukee Police Department, a 24-year-old man was shot and robbed around 6:30 PM in the area of N 7th Street and W Fiebrantz Avenue.   According to the Police, the suspect shot the victim and then robbed him, before fleeing the scene on foot.   The victim was taken by a friend to a local hospital for treatment and is expected to survive his injury.   The MPD is continuing to search for a suspect.
