Man Shot During Drug Deal

The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened Friday, November 6 in the 4000 Block of North 49th Street at about 5:30 PM. The 20-year-old victim is a Milwaukee resident and drove himself to a local hospital following the shooting. 

The victim has non life-threatening injuries. The victim indicated he was shot following a drug transaction, but the circumstances that led to, and followed the incident still remain under investigation.  

There are no suspects in custody.
