Man Seriously Injured in Sunday Night Shooting

A 26-year-old Milwaukee man is in the hospital this morning with what is described as a serious gunshot wound. 

According to the Milwaukee Police Department, the man was involved in an altercation with another man when he was shot. 

The other man fled the scene.  The victim was transported to a local hospital where he is being treated for his wound. 

The incident occurred around 8:50 PM Sunday near the intersection of N 28th and W Brown Streets. 

The Milwaukee Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting, attempting to determine a motive and locate a suspect.
