Man seriously injured after semi hauling corn collides with combine harvester
CBS 58 DODGE COUNTY, Wisconsin (CBS 58) -- Officials say two people were injured after a semi hauling corn hit a combine harvester on Saturday, August 15.
The Dodge County Sheriff's Office responded to the incident along State Hwy 16/60 at around 7:33 a.m.
The initial investigation shows that the combine and semi were both eastbound, when the semi rear ended the combine causing severe damage to both vehicles.
The driver of the combine, a 70-year-old man from Reeseville, suffered serious injuries, and was taken to the hospital via Flight for Life
Meanwhile the driver of the semi, a 25-year-old man from Sharon, Wisconsin, suffered minor injuries and was released from the scene.
This crash remains under investigation by members of the Dodge County Sheriff's Office.
