MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – The Milwaukee man charged in an accident at Cedarburg’s Strawberry Festival was in court for sentencing on Thursday.
Kunle Fama-Kinwa, 38, was driving a car that hit and injured two women on a sidewalk at the festival in June of 2016. He said he was diabetic and had low blood sugar but he was also carrying marijuana. While the reckless driving charges were dismissed, he was convicted of possession of pot.
The judge withheld sentence for 18 months and ordered Fama-Kinwa to stay absolutely sober during that time.
