Man dies in single car crash Sunday morning in Milwaukee

Speed is believed to be a factor in a fatal, single-car crash early Sunday morning in Milwaukee.   According to the Milwaukee Police Department, the unidentified adult male driver died at the scene of the accident at N 23rd and W Center Streets.  According to an MPD news release, around 2:25 AM Sunday, a 2006 Honda  Element was traveling westbound at a high rate of speed on Center Street when the driver lost control of the vehicle and collided with a concrete pole.   At this time, the Police believe the Honda was the only vehicle involved in the accident and that no one else was injured in the crash.  The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office is working to identify the driver while the MPD continues to investigate the incident
