Man dies after crashing into tree near Green Bay and Fairmount in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 26-year-old Milwaukee man is dead following a crash on the city's north side late Thursday night. 

According to police, around 11 p.m., a man was driving northbound on N. Green Bay Rd. when he lost control and hit a tree near W. Fairmount Ave. 

He was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, and there were no other occupants or victims involved. 

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim as Cruz Javier Guzman. 

Police continue to investigate the incident.
