Man dead following stabbing incident on Milwaukee's south side

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a fatal stabbing on the city's south side early Thursday morning. 

According to police, a 22-year-old Milwaukee man was stabbed multiple times near S. 10th St. and W. Greenfield Ave. around 12:30 a.m., Thursday morning. 

The Milwaukee Fire Department transported the victim to a local hospital. where he was rushed into surgery, but unfortunately died from his injuries. 

The circumstances surrounding the stabbing appear to be robbery related.

Milwaukee police are seeking unknown suspect(s) in relation to this incident.
