Man dead after Sunday morning crash in Dodge County

DODGE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- On Sunday, November 5 around 3:06 a.m. the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office was sent to a one car crash on U.S. Highway 151 near County Highway C near Trenton.

A preliminary investigation shows that a Pontiac G6 was driving north on Highway 151 north of County Highway C and failed to make a curve going into a ditch and hitting a tree.

The driver of Pontiac, a man, was pronounced dead at the scene. No other passengers were in the car.

U.S. Highway 151 was closed for three hours.

Alcohol and speed are believed to be contributing factors in the crash.
