Man convicted of killing Froedtert nurse practitioner Carlie Beaudin committed for life

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The man who killed a nurse practitioner in January 2019 learned his fate Thursday, March 12.

Twenty-eight-year-old Kenneth Freeman was ordered committed for life for the brutal beating that took place in a Froedtert Hospital parking garage.

He will be sent to a mental health facility for the rest of his life without the possibility of parole.

Freeman was found able to appreciate the wrongfulness of his acts, but as a result of his mental condition he was unable to conform his conduct to the requirements of the law.
