Man bound over for trial in West Allis crash that killed 18-year-old woman

WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A West Allis man accused in a crash that killed an 18-year-old woman has been bound over for trial. 

Jason Zamora, 20, faces one count of second-degree reckless homicide in connection to the crash that happened near 60th and Burnham on April 23. 

Officials say Zamora was driving, 18-year-old Maryxa Valle Zepeda was his passenger, when he ran a red light and struck a Jeep and two pedestrians. 

Zepeda died as a result of the crash. 

In court on Thursday, May 4, Zamora pleaded not guilty; the court found probably cause and he was bound over for trial. 

Zamora is due back in court for a bond hearing on May 15.
