MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – A 40-year-old man was arrested early Wednesday morning after hitting a Milwaukee Police squad car and leaving the scene.
Authorities say police were responding to a fire near 22nd and Mineral around 12:38 a.m. Two officers were sitting in the squad car blocking traffic when another car hit them from behind.
The car drove away but officers were able to track it down and arrest the driver.
The two officers were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
