Man arrested after firing gun in Sheboygan

At approximately 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 17 Sheboygan Police received a report of a subject acting suspiciously and possibly armed with a gun  near a north side business. Officers responded to the area and located a 30-year-old man matching the suspect description.

The subject was cooperative and was determined to be in possession of a firearm. Further investigation revealed the subject fired one round while outdoors.

The man was taken into custody and placed at the Sheboygan County Detention Center. It does not appear that anyone was targeted and no injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
