MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police say a man was arrested Friday, after allegedly stealing an Amazon delivery truck and leading officers on a brief pursuit.

Officials say the suspect, a 32-year-old man, demanded and obtained keys from the victim near 65th and Lancaster Avenue around 1:35 p.m.

Officers attempted to stop the delivery truck near 60th and Meinecke, but the suspect refused to pull over. 

The pursuit ended when the driver stopped in a parking lot near Clybourn and Layton. 

An investigation is ongoing. 

Criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office in the coming days.
