MEQUON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- After a police chase that started with the suspect trying to run over a Mequon officer, police found a small child in the backseat.
Officers in Mequon say Takorey Phillips, 27, stole hundreds of dollars in merchandise from a Marshall's store.
When they tried to stop him, he instead drove his car toward one of the officers. The officer was able to sidestep out of the way.
A 10-mile chase that reached speeds of more than 100 miles per hour ended in a crash.
Officers say Phillps' toddler was in the car as well as the child's mother.
Phillips has been charged with three felonies.
