KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A man accused of shooting and wounding a police officer was bound over for trial in Kenosha Wednesday, Sept. 9.
Jonathan Massey appeared at his preliminary hearing Wednesday. He's charged with attempted first degree intentional homicide for an incident earlier this summer.
Police say he shot Officer Justin Pruett, who was investigating a vehicle break-in.
Officer Pruett was hit, but has since recovered.
The detective testified Wednesday that Pruett returned fire and that Massey was treated for a gunshot wound after he was arrested, three days later.Â
Massey's arraignment has been set for Oct. 5.
