Man accused of shooting and killing a 17-year-old for 'smiling and looking at him' appears in court

RACINE, WI (CBS 58) -- 18-year old Joshua Daniel was bound over for trial today on first degree intentional homicide and endangering safety charges Thursday, May 20, in Racine.

Daniel is accused of shooting and killing a 17-year-old earlier this month.

According to the criminal complaint, Daniel pulled a gun and fired at a party because the victim was quote, "Smiling and looking at him."

A defense motion to dismiss charges failed and an arraignment was scheduled for June 2 in Racine.
