Glendale man sentenced to 17 years in prison for May 18 homicide
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Kris Zocco appeared in court facing new charges on Thursday.
Zocco is set to go to trial later this month for the murder of Kelly Dwyer.
A new complaint says he tried to get a former cellmate to kill an ex-girlfriend because he was worried she would testify against him.
His lawyers argued there is no probable cause to move forward. The judge disagreed, however, and would not dismiss the witness intimidation charges.
Zocco will go to trial for Dwyer's murder on September 24.
