SHEBOYGAN COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The man charged with a severe case of child abuse was back in a Sheboygan courtroom Wednesday.
Jonathan Colon, 25, was arraigned on abuse and neglect charges.
Colon was said to be taking care of his girlfriend's toddler when she suffered life-threatening injuries, including what police believe was a kick to the stomach.
Colon has denied doing anything wrong, claiming the child's injuries were caused by other children.
His next court appearance is scheduled for April 23.
