SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A Sheboygan County man is charged with child abuse after a toddler in his care was found unresponsive in a bathtub.
Jonathan Colon was watching his girlfriend's daughter last week. According to the criminal complaint, he put the girl in the bathtub and when he returned a few minutes later, she slumped over in the water. He took her to a hospital in Sheboygan.
Doctors say the girl had injuries that were consistent with abuse, including being hit or kicked in the stomach.
The girl is now in the ICU at Children's Hospital.
