'Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be cowboys': Willie Nelson to perform at BMO Pavilion
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A music legend is set to take the stage in Milwaukee, offering his signature blend of country and folk melodies. Willie Nelson & Family are scheduled for a live performance at the BMO Pavilion on Saturday, May 18 at 8 p.m.
Willie Nelson, a name synonymous with country and folk music, has been an icon with a career spanning seven decades. Known for hits like "On the Road Again," "Crazy, "Always on My Mind" and "Beer for My Horses" with Toby Keith, Nelson has garnered numerous awards and accolades.
His influence has extended beyond music, achieving success as an author, actor and activist.
Nelson's recent achievements include a 2022 Grammy for Best Country Album and induction into The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2023.
Nelson also headlined Farm Aid, an event he co-founded in 1984, and was honored by the Library of Congress with their Gershwin Prize for Popular Song in 2015.
