MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a major crash near 105th Street and Hampton Avenue.
Officers and first responders were called to the scene around 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 26. One car ended up on a median.
Officials say that two cars were involved in a crash. The first car collided into the second car, which was making a left turn.
The first car was being driven by a 31-year-old woman who had to be extricated from the vehicle, and passengers included a 27-year-old Milwaukee woman and a 33-year-old Milwaukee man.
In the second vehicle the driver was a 35-year-old Milwaukee man with a 23-year-old Milwaukee woman as a passenger, both of whom had to be extricated from the vehicle.
The occupants of both vehicles sustained serious injuries, were transported to a local hospital for treatment and are expected to survive.
