Madison PD: 2 Juveniles Involved in Stabbing; One in Custody

(CHANNEL 3000) Madison Police said two juveniles were involved in a stabbing on the west side Monday night.

Dane County dispatch said a call came in just before 7:30 p.m. reporting a stabbing in the 6700 block of Schroeder Road.

The two juveniles were involved in a physical fight at a nearby park, according to a release. After the initial fight, the two juveniles went to the 6700 block of Schroeder Road and continued fighting.

During the second fight, the suspect stabbed the victim once in the back, officials said. The juvenile who was stabbed was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said the other juvenile was taken into custody.
