MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission, also known as MADACC, is bursting with animals in need of a new home.
While MADACC is the resource for animal control throughout Milwaukee County, the organization also takes in animals that are sick, injured or need to be rehomed.
Right now, the shelter is at maximum capacity and according to workers, "bursting with cats and dogs."
MADACC sent out an SOS to its supporters Tuesday asking anyone who can help by adopting or fostering an animal to do so.
The commission has temporarily waived some of its fees in hopes of encouraging more people to adopt.
