BROOKFIELD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Brookfield Police are searching for three suspects after an armed robbery attempt in the parking lot of Brookfield Square late Wednesday night.
Police say a Lyft driver picked up four people around 11:00 p.m. at a motel in the Town of Brookfield, then drove them to the Brookfield Square area.
When the driver got to the mall's parking lot, he says he saw one of the passengers pull a gun.
The driver stopped the car and everyone got out. The Lyft driver then pulled out his own gun and fired four shots at the suspects. Police found one of the suspects and took him into custody. They're still searching for the others.
Investigators say the suspects should be considered armed and dangerous.
