Lucky Piggly Wiggly? Two $50K Powerball prizes won in East Troy where winning million dollar ticket sold

EAST TROY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Frank's Piggly Wiggly in East Troy is earning quite the reputation in Walworth County for selling winning lottery tickets.

Two $50,000 Powerball prizes were won at the store in the March 10 drawing. Just three months earlier, Frank's sold a winning Megabucks ticket worth $1.4 million annuities. Jessica Eickman of East Troy claimed the jackpot-winning ticket from the Dec. 16 drawing. 

"We're happy to sell big winning tickets and plan to keep doing so," said Frank's Piggly Wiggly co-owner Steve Lueptow. "Guess we're the lucky place to buy Lottery!"

Players have 180 days from the draw date to claim their winnings. Since Wisconsin Lottery retailers who selling winning tickets over $599 receive a 2% incentive, Piggly Wiggly will receive $2,000 for selling the two $50,000 prizes. The incentive goes up to $100,000.

The odds must be in Frank's favor because the odds of winning a Megabucks jackpot are one in 6,991,908. The overall odds of winning a Powerball prize, however, is one 24.9.
