Loved ones hold vigil in memory of Sandra Parks 1 year after fatal shooting

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Nov. 19 marked one year since Sandra Parks was killed in her home by a stray bullet. 

Loved ones held a vigil in her memory Tuesday night.

Parks was only 13 years old at the time of the shooting. She wrote an award-winning essay on gun violence just two years earlier. 

Isaac Barnes, who fired the bullet that killed Parks, was sentenced to 50 years in prison.
