You may notice that when you drive by the new Bucks arena construction site, it looks a lot different than the last time you drove by. Only eleven months into construction, and members of the organization said they couldn't believe the progress being made.
"This is happening, this is real," said Bucks President Peter Feigin. "And it's happening quickly."
It's the first new sports and entertainment arena in Wisconsin since 2002 -- and no detail will be overlooked.
CBS 58 got a look inside the new Bucks arena construction site on Thursday, where
"It's exceeded our expectations, and we had delusional expectations," said Feigin.
With about a year left to go before construction is complete, soon work will start on the outdoor plaza.
At a time when the team is coming off a promising year and has high hopes for the future, it seems the timing is right for a big change.
"The goal is to win an NBA championship," said Feigin. "We think winning on the court is as important as winning off the court."
