Long Term Closure Now in Place at Hwy 100

As part of the Zoo Interchange project, I-94 westbound traffic has now been shifted onto a new roadway between Hwy 100 and Elm Grove Rd for the morning commute.

With this new traffic switch comes a long term ramp closure.  Traffic will no longer be able to access I-94 west from Hwy 100.  The ramp will remain closed until the fall of this year for reconstruction.  Drivers will need to plan ahead if they normally take this route during their commute.

Drivers will need to use either Bluemound Rd. or Greenfield Ave. and join I-94 west at the Moorland Rd. on ramp.  Another option is to use the Watertown Plank Rd. on ramp and use the Zoo system ramp to I-94 west.

As with most traffic changes, it will take drivers several days to get used to the new patterns so plan ahead for both the morning and evening commute.
