Loney's hit, Odorizzi's arm send Brewers to 2-1 defeat

ST. PETERSBURG, FL - James Loney's 2 run single was all the offense the Tampa Bay Rays needed in a 2-1 win over the Brewers Monday night at Tropicana Field.

Former Brewers pitching prospect Jake Odorizzi gave up just one run - a Mark Reynolds solo home run - and two Rays relievers held off the Brewers in the final few innings.

The Brewers are rumored to have interest in Rays pitcher David Price. The MLB trade deadline is Thursday.
